SS24 Trends Recap by your favourite BIFluencers
Summer is almost over - in fact, our founder, Iuliia Grinkiv, is in Italy, jump-starting for the colder winter months just now, while you’re reading this - but before we say goodbye to our cute shorts, whimsical tops and summery dresses, the ladies from the shop have been asked to point out the best, worst and most extravagant trends of the season. Here’s their take!
What’s been the most extravagant trend of the season?
Iuliia Grinkiv, Founder - I immediately think of the big-mesh fabrics that were used on eveningwear, instead of beachwear (where they belong, if you ask me). Not a huge fan, but definitely an eye-catcher.
Valeria Wiwinius, Writer - If we’re already talking about eveningwear, the 1920s seem to have had a revival on the runway which really caught me off-guard, but in a good way.
Lisa Tsumakova, Social Media Manager - SS24 screamed ‘volume’ from all angles for me. Dresses, tops, bubble skirts and co. have definitely stolen my heart this season and make looks stand out even more.
What’s the worst trend of the season?
Lisa Tsumakova - Athleisurewear has taken it a bit too far for me with the Football-inspired T-Shirts. Sorry, not sorry.
Iuliia Grinkiv - No offense to Adidas, but I’m so over the big three stripes on anything and everything.
Valeria Wiwinius - Please don’t come for me, but I’m really not feeling the dainty crochet tops that have been flooding my IG the last couple of months.
What’s the best trend you’ve seen this season?
Iuliia Grinkiv - Palazzo trousers, Bermuda shorts and poignant golden details on clothing are the winners for me this season.
Lisa Tsumakova - 90s-inspired vest and trouser sets, with wider trousers and little vests, that make for a great figure.
Valeria Wiwinius - I’ll have to agree with Lisa on this one! I’m a sucker for suits and everything 90s, so many of the trends this season have been right up my alley.
